All declaring agents are requested to inform the importers on the contents of the circular.

 

Dear Sir/Madam

 

Newly regulated HS codes for Meat and Fish

 

1. This circular is to inform you that SFA is regulating the following HS codes, and their corresponding product codes, with effect from 10 Feb 2025:

Meat product

2. Traders with a registered company in Singapore are required to obtain from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), a “Licence for Import/Export/Transshipment of Meat and Fish Products”, before applying for a cargo clearance permit to import/export/tranship the abovementioned food products. Meat products imported for sale in Singapore, including dried pork skin, must originate from SFA-accredited sources and accompanied by a health certificate issued by the overseas veterinary competent authority. 3. The updated product/HS code lists can be found at SFA website, www.sfa.gov.sg (go to ‘Tools and Resources’, filter and select ‘Product/HS codes’), with effect from 10 Feb 2025.
