Recall of Gerber Soothe ‘n’ Chew Teething Sticks from USA due to a potential choking hazard

          The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) was informed by Redmart Pte. Ltd. on the voluntary recall of various Gerber Soothe ‘n’ Chew Teething Sticks products by the manufacturer in the USA, due to a potential choking hazard for babies and young children.

2        As a precautionary measure, SFA has directed the importer, Redmart Pte. Ltd. to recall the implicated product. The recall is ongoing. 

3        Under the Sale of Food Act, foods known to be unsafe for consumption should not be sold. Consumers who have purchased the implicated products are advised not to feed it to their children. Those whose children have consumed the implicated products and have concerns about their children’s health should seek medical advice. Consumers may contact their point of purchase for enquiries.
