Recall of Community Co’s Diced Beetroot (420g) due to potential presence of rust within the can

             The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has received an alert from the Food Standards Australia New Zealand on the recall of Community Co’s Diced Beetroot product due to the potential presence of rust within the can.  

2          As a precautionary measure, SFA has directed the importer, Redmart Pte Ltd, to recall the implicated product. The recall is ongoing.  

3        The potential presence of rust is due to a packaging fault that can affect the integrity of the can. Consumers who have purchased the implicated product should not consume it. Those who have consumed and have concerns about their health should seek medical attention. Consumers may contact their point of purchase for enquiries.
