Recall of various Cape Herb & Spice products due to possible presence of plastic pieces

       The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) was informed by Q.B. Food Trading Pte Ltd on the voluntary recall of various Cape Herb & Spice products by its supplier in South Africa due to possible presence of plastic pieces.

2      As a precautionary measure, SFA has directed the importer, Q.B. Food Trading Pte Ltd, to recall the implicated products. The recall is ongoing.

3      Under the Sale of Food Act, food products known to be unsafe for consumption should not be sold. Consumers who have purchased the implicated products are advised not to consume them. Those who have consumed and have concerns about their health should seek medical attention. Consumers may contact their point of purchase for enquiries.
