Trade Circular on GACC registration required for export of agricultural food ingredients to China

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

  1. The General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) has updated the list of agricultural food ingredients requiring registration. To ensure smooth trade, GACC has requested for the list of food manufacturers exporting these ingredients and/or food products containing these ingredients to be registered by 1 June 2025.

     

  2. The updated list of agricultural food ingredients is as follow:
    1. Wheat bran (麦麸)
    2. Star anise/Illicium verum(八角茴香)
    3. Pepper/Piper nigrum(胡椒)
    4. Frankincense (乳香)
    5. Storax/Liquidambar orientalis (苏合香)
    6. Fresh or dried chrysanthemum flowers/Chrysanthemum morifolium (鲜或干的菊花)
    7. Dragon's blood/Daemonorops draco (血竭)
    8. Bamboo silica concretions/Tabashir (天竺黄)
    9. Oregano leaves/Origanum vulgare L. (牛至叶)
    10. Vanilla beans/Vanilla planifolia (香子兰豆)
    11. Catechu/Acacia catechu (儿茶)
    12. Aloe Vera/Aloe barbadensis (芦荟)
    13. Square Catechu/Uncaria gambir (方儿茶)
    14. Chinese Yew/Taxus chinensis (红豆杉)

       

  3. Food manufacturers who are currently exporting and/or interested in exporting these ingredients, or food products containing these ingredients to China, must submit their registration details via this link by 16 May 2025.
