Veterinary Certificate
The veterinary certificate from SFA will be required if the destination country of your animals/birds requires a government health certificate; or in the case of animal feed/feed premix/additives, specific certification relating to the manufacturer or product is required.
Types of product certification
Exporters can apply for veterinary certificates for:
- Animals (including pet animals, ornamental birds, laboratory and zoological animals.
- Feed premixes
- Animal Products
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate

| Original veterinary certificate issued by veterinarian. If importing country requires a particular format that must be completed by both private veterinarian and government veterinarian, please bring the hard copy template that has already been filled up by private veterinarian. |

How to apply
STEP 1: Fill in the details in the online application form. It may take you 10 – 20 minutes. Please complete your application within 1.5 hours.
STEP 2: Provide the required information (e.g. product description, quantity, ingredient list, unit packing, in the case of certificates for feed premix .)
STEP 3: Attach soft copies of supporting documents (e.g. import permit, invoices, etc.)
STEP 4: Pay the fees per certificate:
- online by GIRO
- by cheque/NETS/cash card during certificate collection at SFA
After applying

Fees and Processing Time (Veterinary Certificate for Feed Premix/ Animal Products and GMP Certificate)
Normal service: $23 per certificate, for issuance within two working days from submission of application with complete documents
Express service: $46 per certificate, for issuance within one working day from submission of application with complete documents
