Free Sale Certificate

This Free Sale Certificate certifies that products you import comply with the standards set out in the opens in a new windowFood Regulations and the opens in a new windowWholesome Meat & Fish Act for sale and export in Singapore.

The products must be approved for import by SFA.

Types of product certification

Exporters can apply for:

  1. Imported Meat and Fish Products
  2. Locally Processed Meat, Fish or Egg Products
  3. Processed Food (excluding meat and fish products)
  4. Vaccine and Feed Premix

What to prepare before applying

How to apply

STEP 1: Fill in the details in the online application form. It may take you 10 – 20 minutes. Please complete your application within 1.5 hours.

STEP 2: Provide the required information (e.g. product description, quantity, ingredient list, unit packing, etc.)

STEP 3: Attach soft copies of supporting documents (e.g. import permit, invoices, etc.)

STEP 4: Pay the fees per certificate:

  • online by GIRO
  • by cheque/NETS/cash card during certificate collection at SFA

After applying

  1. The free sale certificate will be ready for collection 2 working days from the date of approval of application
  2. Check the status of your application online to confirm if the certificate can be collected.
  3. Collect your certificate(s) at the counter at:
